“I told you, you’re not going anywhere,” the brown-eyed girl grabbed onto Joon’s arm and refused to let go. “Just stay here with me.”
“Your clothes are drenched and your hair’s wet, you’re going to get sick. At least let me go get you a towel to dry yourself off…” Seeing her irresistible pout, he gave in and sat down with her on the L-shaped couch. “But don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“I’ll be fine! Don’t worry.” Giggling, Jea lied down and rested her head on his lap, closing her eyes. His clothes were already starting to dry off, while hers were still wet from standing outside on the bridge for so long.
“By the way… did you really mean what you said earlier?” She asked while playing with his warm, soft hands, starting to fall asleep.
“Yeah,” He tenderly stroked her face, brushing away the rainwater on her cheeks. He leaned her head against his chest and wrapped his arms around her petite body. Listening to her gentle breathing, he fell asleep as well.
Joon woke up to the soft pattering of the rain on his window. The clock on the stove said it was only 1:43AM. He looked down and found Jea shivering in his arms. Quickly he sat up and gently shook her. “Yah, are you okay?”
“I’m c-cold…” she mumbled as beads of sweat rolled down her pale face. He leaned his forehead against hers. It was burning hot.
“You have a fever!” He exclaimed worriedly. Carrying her trembling body to his room, he gingerly set her on the bed. “Let’s get you to the hospital.”
“D-don’t,” Jea said in a weak voice while pulling his arm to prevent him from standing up.
“Joong Hoon’s family owns the hospital here…”
“…Alright then,” his eyes softened as he sat down next to her on the bed, caressing her cheeks. He quickly removed the damp clothes she was wearing and covered her with the blanket. “Do you need anything else?”
“My throat’s dry,” she managed to say through her coughing fits. “Can you get me water?”
Nodding, Joon quickly ran to the kitchen and returned with a bottle of water. Helping her up, he was about to hand her the bottle when he realized she would probably end up spilling it all since her hands were still shaking. He drank a big gulp of water and kissed her, slowly parting her lips so the water could go through. Her eyes widened as his tongue licked the corner of her lips for any remaining drops of water.
“Do you some want more?” He asked innocently, secretly smirking at the silly expression on her bewildered face.
“N-no thanks, I’m good,” Jea blushed and turned her away from him, embarrassed.
“Well then, you should go to sleep, it’s only 2 in the morning right now,” Joon whispered and laid down next to her on the bed, pulling her closer until he could feel the heat radiating from her warm body.
“You’re not going to leave me, are you?” She could barely open her eyes as she turned to face him, her small hands gripped onto the thin fabric of his shirt. “Please don’t go…”
He said nothing and gently kissed her on the forehead. He cupped her burning cheek and caressed it, the coolness of his hand making her smile. Seeing that she was asleep after a mere ten minutes, he carefully slipped out of the shirt she was grabbing onto as to not wake her up, and slowly tiptoed out of the room.
“Sorry Jea, but I have to go buy medicine for you… Please don’t get mad, I won’t be gone for long,” he replied to her question from earlier while putting on his sweater and shoes. Stepping out of the front door, he quietly closed it and turned the key.
“Where the heck am I supposed to find Tylenol in the middle of the night?” Joon muttered under his breath as he ran down the street under the pouring rain. After half an hour of fruitless searching, he finally found a 24-hour grocery store. Dripping wet, he wandered into the store and immediately ram to the aisle that sold Tylenol. As he stood there, contemplating on which bottle he should by, someone tapped his shoulder.
“Oppa,” In Young smiled brightly. Joon ignored her and continued to browse through the selections of Tylenol. “Watcha doing?”
“I’m sick, duh,” Joon rolled his eyes as he grabbed two packs of Tylenol for kids. Those were the only kind that had pink-colored flavors. ‘Oh well, Jea’s so childish it doesn’t matter what kind this is, as long as it’s pink,’ he unconsciously chuckled to himself.
“…Are you really sick?” In Young looked at him with a curious eye now.
“Of course I am,” he replied simply, even faking a few coughs.
In Young stepped closer to him. “You know, Joong Hoon-oppa’s family owns the hospital, he can help you.”
“I-it’s okay, I’m fine on my own,” Joon muttered. “What are you even doing here?”
“I’m having my thing right now, so I’m doing thingy shopping,” she giggled nervously. Seeing him walk towards the cash register, she followed him over.
“Don’t you have thingy shopping to do?” Joon looked at her in annoyance. “Please stop following me.”
“But I don’t want to!” She pouted and gave him he puppy eye look, earning sounds of pity from the cashier. Joon glared at In Young with a look that could kill.
“Look, I’m not even going out with you,” he sighed as the lady checked his stuff out. “Leave me alone, okay?”
“You soon will be.”
“…What? I thought you had Joong Hoon.”
“I want you more,” she winked playfully and linked her arm around his. He broke off and ran out the door, far away from her.
“I’m taken, okay?” He yelled. “T-A-K-E-N!”
‘She really is having her thing right now,’ Joon thought to himself while running back to his dorm, hoping that Jea didn’t wake up yet. Fumbling with his coat pocket while running up the stairs, he finally found his keys and swiftly unlocked the door, bolting into his room.
“Jea, I brought you some Tylenol so you can sleep better,” he gently shook her to wake her up. Groggily she sat up, rubbing her eyes.
“I would feed you, but this stuff is so sticky I’ll be drinking half of it if I did do that,” he calmly explained while putting the little cup of pink fluid by her lips and slowly poured it down. After giving her the right dosage, he was about to leave when he felt a small tug on his hand.
“Don’t worry, I’m just getting something to wipe away the sweat on you,” he smiled. “I’ll be back soon.”
Joon ran into the bathroom and got a small basin, filling it with hot water. Grabbing a towel, he carefully carried the water back to his room.
He took off his wet clothes and scrambled onto the bed with he warm towel in his hand. “Let me wipe your body.”
“You’ll get better faster if you get rid of all this sweat and change.” He explained and unclasped her bra. Out of instinct, she covered her bare chest with her arms.
“What are you doing that for? It’s not the first time I’ve seen you naked,” He laughed and turned Jea around so he faced her back, glistening with sweat. She shivered when the towel gently grazed the skin on her back, steam rising off the soft cloth. Feeling him scoot in closer to her, she held her breath as he wiped the front of her body, his other hand on her waist to hold her in place.
“Ah…”She gasped when she felt something cool and soft at the bottom of her back, making its way up her body with light kisses. He sucked on her shoulder lightly, kissing her delicate skin. Gliding his tongue up her neck, he licked her earlobe, nibbling on the soft piece of flesh.
“I’m sorry, I can’t resist…” he murmured as his hands found her chin and slowly turned her face towards his. Joon pressed his lips on hers, slowly parting them with his tongue.
“Oppa, I can’t…” she pushed him away. “You’ll catch my cold if you k-kiss me like that…”
“…Okay then,” he slid his hands down her legs, slipping off her panties. “Let me finish wiping you off, and then you can change into more comfortable clothes.”
After he was done, Joon helped her put on a t-shirt and a pair of boxers. Laying her down on the bed, he lied down beside her and held her trembling body close to him.
“Go to sleep now, you’ll feel better in the morning.”
Jea finally woke up and opened her eyes, fundung herself herself face to face with a pair of smilng eyes. She jumped in astonishment, only to be pinned down by Joon’s muscular body.
“Yah! What are you doing?” She exclaimed, trying to wriggle out of his grip while he lightly kissed her lef cheek. Flustered, she turned her head away
“Watching you sleep,” he replied happily while planting another one on her right.
“What time is it?”
“2pm,” he replied and gently nudged her nose with his. “You’re supposed to be in class right now. But I called in sick for you.”
“What about you?”
“I called in sick too,” he winked and leaned his forhead on hers. “Good thing I did that, you still have a fever.”
She turned away, feeling his cool breath tickling her neck. “Why did you do that, I thought you had a test today…”
“Anything for my little raccoon.” With a smile, Joon pushed her head back up to face him and planted a deep kiss on her lips, prying them apart and letting his tongue slide in. His hands slid underneath her shirt, feeling her hot skin. With one swift move he slipped it off her and tossed it to the ground. She shivered from the cool air on her skin as he trailed his lips down her neck and body, to her stomach.
“Hey… I’m still sick, so it’s not good for you if you keep touching me like that.”
“If it’s your fever then I don’t mind.”
“But still, no one has sex right after they wake up…” She pouted as his tongue lapped at her belly button. Feeling this, she burst into fits of laughter. “Joon, stop…! What the heck are you doing?!”
“You like it,” he teased and sucked on her smooth skin.
“No I don’t… S-stop,” she managed between fits of laughter. Finally, he decided to stop teasing her and moved down lower, pulling the boxers off her waist.
“Joon, seriously, you’re going to get sick. Can’t you wait?”
“Nope,” he replied and slowly kissed the area between her legs, making her squirm. She felt his tongue wriggling inside her and squealed. He sat back up and slowly entered her.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be extra careful,” his hands found her breasts and and gently massaged them, making her moan.
Jea closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. Her body started to slowly rock back and forth with his as he began to thrust in and out of her faster. Pretty soon she could think no more. “Yah, what happened to extra careful?”
“But you like it rough, and I have to give you what you like” he told her in a little kid voice. She didn’t answer as he finished her off, finally pullin out.
“Okay then, bring me food,” she replied. In an instant, he ran off to the kitchen and returned with a bowl of noodles in his hand.
“As you wish,” he said in a sincere voice that made her smile. Sitting down, he picked up the chopsticks and carefully fed her the noodles in the bowl.
Jea couldn’t but notice how he kept on staring at her when he wasn’t feeding her. “Yah, do I look that funny?”
“No… I was just thinking about me marrying you one day,” Joon shook his head and kissed her on the cheek. He climbed onto the bed and told her to lie down on her stomach when she had finished eating.
“Massage,” he answered and squeezed her shoulders. His hands moved downwards, rubbing the tense muscles on her back. When he was done, he looked down to check on her, only to see that she’s fallen asleep. He carefully rolled her onto her back and crawled into bed, wrapping his arms around her, closing all the spaces left between them.
“I love you,” he whispered and closed his eyes.
Joon sat up from his bed and put on a pair of boxers on the floor. Standing up, he gave her one last kiss before going to answer the door.
“Joon, what are you doing at home?”
It was his parents. Joon swallowed hard. “Omma, appa… I wasn’t feeling too good today, so I didn’t go do school.”
“Oh really?” His mother glared at him with her eagle eyes. “Care to explain the mess in the kitchen?”
“Omma, I was cooking,” he rolled his eyes. “People get hungry when they’re sick, and I’m no exception.”
“What about the mess in your bedroom?” His father pointed to the pile of clothes laying on the ground.
“I got bored at home and decided to have a fashion show,” he stated as-a-matter-of-factly.
“What about the girl clothes?” He pointed to Jea’s bra and panties.
“I wanted to try something new.”
His mother rolled her eyes. “Look Joon, I don’t care what you’re doing with other girls. Just don’t forget your engagement with her.”
“In Young-ah,” she sighed. “You forgot who your fiancée is?”
“Omma, I was never engaged to her!”
“You are now. It’s important that you marry her, for the sake of our business,” his father replied.
“I’m tired, I’m going back to bed,” he replied coldly. “If you have nothing better to do, please leave.”
Hearing the door close behind him, he hurried back to his room and climbed back into bed, holding Jea close to him.
“What’s wrong?” She turned around, only to be pulled into a tight hug that left her breathless. “Joon, are you okay?”
“Yes, when you’re by my side,” he smiled warmly at her. “I love you and only you, I want no one else but you. I-”
“Shh…I know you love me, I love you too,” she closed her eyes and scooted up so she could give him a peck on her lips. His hands caressed her face as he deepened the kiss.
‘Joon, how can I love you now?’ Tears started to well up in her eyes. ‘You already have someone else.’
“Oppa, don’t move around so much,” Jea pouted. “Do you want anything?”
He groaned as he sat up. “Now that you’re better, aren’t you supposed to be in school?”
“No,” she walked over to his window and pulled up the blinds, revealing a sunny, blue sky. “I’m taking care of you today. You did that for me, didn’t you? Here, some water.”
He looked at her with dumbfounded eyes. Annoyed, she pressed her lips on his and slowly let the water flow through.
A wide grin crossed his face as he pulled her down and pinned her down on the bed, planting kisses all over her face as she squealed.
“I love you!”
